There is nothing better than when retailers jump the line that is fashion hierarchy and make truly high-fashion pieces available to consumers.
Anyone who has seen The Devil Wears Prada or "The Rachel Zoe Project" knows how it normally goes: designers show their work on the runways, stylists and high-end retailers buy it, so that celebrities and style-makers wear the original pieces, lower end retailers copy those looks, and it just filters down from there. So while Pucci may be showing lace-inset mini dresses, you probably won't be able to afford a look like that until ASOS comes out with their version.
That's why it's so amazing when affordable retailers, like H&M, cut to the chase and give their stylish customers what they want. Their newest collection for their sustainable line, Conscious Exclusive (it's good for the planet, too!), has gorgeous, almost avant garde pieces at normal-person-prices. The gowns are the highlight; perfect for weddings, proms and formal events. The seafoam tulle number would be gorgeous no matter what the price point. These looks are so on-trend, they look like things fashionable stars like Emma Stone and Katy Perry would actually wear.
